Signed on June 13, 2014 in Surabaya, Indonesia, by the Head of the National Population and Family Planning Board (BKKBN) of Indonesia and the Director of the General Office for Population and Family Planning (GOPFP) of Vietnam, both countries have since agreed to assist each other in promoting scientific research, training, service provision, and exchange of information and publication on population, and reproductive health/family planning. Indonesia and Vietnam are committed to always share the results of their research in these areas. As part of the agreement, both countries also exchange information on the development of the strategic role of local governments, communities, and the private sector in family planning and reproductive health services.
