Representing Indonesia, the National Population and Family Planning Board (BKKBN) and Brawijaya University in collaboration with UK’s Portsmouth University organized the Southeast Asia Biennial Conference on Population and Health on November 7-9, 2018. Held in Batu city in Malang, Indonesia, the conference was attended by participants from Indonesia, the UK, Australia, Thailand, Singapore, India, Malawi, Laos, Cambodia, Malaysia, Myanmar, Vietnam, the Philippines, Timor Leste, and Brunei Darussalam. The conference highlighted several issues of family planning, fertility and population dividend, population of ageing family, marriage and divorce, population and development, national and international migration, lifestyle diseases and mortality, maternal, adolescent, and child health, and health system and health financing.
