Indonesia is one of the co-founders of the Partners in Population and Development (PPD) and the National Population and Family Planning Board (BKKBN) has been serving as the Indonesia’s focal point since 1994. Indonesia contributes US$ 20,000 per annum to PPD and benefits from various PPD activities, such as conferences, information exchange on population, development, and poverty elimination, maternal and child health promotion, and healthcare and medical services.
