On March 11 and 12, 2021, at the Aston Simatupang Hotel Jakarta, Center for International Training and Collaboration conducted Education Fair 2022. The objective was to socialize overseas scholarship programs offered for civil servants to study abroad. The Education Fair 2022 was conducted as a follow-up of the IELTS Prediction Test that was held 1 month prior to this event. The employees who had participated expressed their interest to pursue master and doctoral degrees abroad.
There were scholarship providers invited to the event as resource person. The resource persons represented diverse scholarship programs, such as the Indonesian Endowment Fund for Education (LPDP), Australian Award Scholarship, Chevening Scholarship, Fullbright Scholarship, KOICA Scholarship, Nuffic Neso Scholarship, Eiffel Scholarship, and DAAD Scholarship.
The Deputy for Training, Research, and Development of BKKBN who was accompanied by the Head of the Center for International Training and Collaboration has officially opened the Edu Fair 2022. More than 200 employees from BKKBN Central and Provincial offices participated in this event which was held by a hybrid method.
On the second day of the event, participants were provided with information on experiences on how to apply for a scholarship from BKKBN staff who had successfully won scholarship in 2021. Besides, participants were also provided with a session that make them able to learn how to write an essay and an interesting motivational letter as well as information on the program available at Universities abroad.
From this event, participants have the chance to know more about scholarship programs offered as well as the requirements needed to apply and win the scholarship. Further, they also received words of encouragement to compete gaining the scholarship and to augment their professional capacity by pursuing higher education in overseas universities.
