The cooperation agreement between the National Population and Family Planning Board (BKKBN) and Universitas Indonesia was signed on October 21, 2019. The institutions were represented by BKKBN’s Deputy in Family Planning and Reproductive Health the Director of Universitas Indonesia Hospital. The cooperation encompasses: the establishment of a Center of Excellence (CoE) of family planning training program at the Universitas Indonesia Hospital under the South-South Cooperation framework; organization of the competence-based family planning training program through South-South Cooperation modality; and improvement of the quality of family planning services.
As the CoE of family planning training, BKKBN and Universitas Indonesia will host and facilitate international visitors in learning about quality rights-based family planning services.
