In October 2014, the National Population and Family Planning Board (BKKBN) and the Public Health Faculty of Gadjah Mada University signed a cooperation agreement to develop the Center of Excellence on family planning training. Every year, BKKBN and UGM host foreign visitors seeking to enrich their knowledge and skills in the provisioning and management of quality, rights-based family planning services.
BKKBN-UGM agreement itself covers all aspects of family planning: all family planning methods including traditional and modern methods, family planning program counseling, management of family planning program, behavior change communication, reproductive health commodity security, and monitoring and evaluation.
