BKKBN’s Cooperation with the National Family Planning and Population Agency of the Republic of Tunisia

Carried out in Tunisia on September 3, 2019, the National Population and Family Planning Board (BKKBN), on behalf of the Republic of Indonesia, and the Family Planning and National Population Agency of Tunisia signed a cooperation agreement in areas of population dynamics, family planning, and family development. The signing took place in conjunction of the 16th International Inter-Ministerial Conference on South-South Cooperation in Population & Development and Partners in Population and Development (PPD) Governance Meetings.

There are numerous activities that may take place as the result of this MoU, such as capacity building, exchange of experts, organization of workshops, seminars and conferences, and exchange of information and best practices. Indonesia and Tunisia may also cooperate on issues of mutual interest in international forums that both countries participate in, encourage the engagement of the private sectors in both countries in family planning development, and conduct joint studies.
